on Wed May 27,6-11 pm at Steam Whistle Brewery.

Juan Geuer, a bright star is gone

Geuer, Juan W. F.R.S.C., R.C.A, Artist. Born on April 17, 1917 in Utrecht, the Netherlands; died suddenly, surrounded by family, on May 2, 2009. Juan’s remarkable life force will be remembered by all he touched throughout his career at Earth Physics Branch of Department of Energy Mines and Resources Canada and many hours spent during his long “retirement” working for Holy Name of Mary Parish, Amnesty International, the visual arts community of Almonte, Ottawa and further afield.

Hey!

I would like to invite you to “Open the Universe“ with me at the Ontario Science
Centre.

I have co-curated a show of OCAD Student work inspired by Astronomy, for the
International year of Astronomy.

There will be a digital preview of the work on Sat May 2, from 8:00 -11:00 pm,
at the Astronomy Day Star Party at the Ontario Science Centre. Images and
videos will be projected onto the exterior of the Science Centre, while amateur
